Growing up hunting Dustin, Derrick & Jonathon developed a passion for big game. With their skill, knowledge and love of hunting they not only wanted to be the hunter; but wanted to be able to give others the opportunity to experience a hunt of their own lifetime!

As owners and guides of Heavy Horned Outfitters - their goal is to be able to offer a variety of hunting for all - the experienced, the beginner or the dad looking to teach his son, to ensure a memorable experience, and to guide their clients to success.

We are proud to be able to offer a network of ranches throughout Texas. So whether you are looking for that Whitetail Trophy, Mule Deer or an Exotic - We got it!

It's no surprise that a man with the last name Hunt is good at hunting. Dustin is an experienced guide that has led over 100 successful hunts. For Dustin; seeing his clients succeed brings him great satisfaction.

Derrick has been a hunting guide in and around Texas for over 15 years. He has a true passion for the outdoors which is evident in his knowledge of the land and animal species. He will do everything possible to make sure you have a truly memorable hunt. You can rest assured he will take excellent care of you during your entire hunting experience.

Jonathon has been hunting and guiding throughout Texas for over 20 years! He has a passion for hunting, and helping others pursuit their dreams of a trophy. As a guide - Jonathon’s focus is to give others a once in a lifetime hunting experience.
